With June fast approaching, bridal shower season is in full gear!  I'll be attending one this weekend, and it got me thinking about all the fun things I could wear...

Head-scarf vs hat?

Found some photos from the past few beach vacations.  The verdict is in... I do NOT have good beach hair.  I love playing around in the water, and my super-straight (and limp) locks do not dry into Gisele-like beachy waves.  This year, I'm going to be prepared.  I like the traditional sun hats, but right now I'm really into the uber-chic wrapped head scarf too.  Which would you choose?

Color-blocking 101

Perhaps you like the color blocking trend, but find you are intimidated by selecting separates?  A color-blocked bag or pair of shoes easily pairs with a monochromatic outfit.  One of the easiest color-blocked items to pull of is a top or blouse.  You can almost always add white or black pants for an instant outfit with maximum effect!  Try some of the combinations below...
