After what seems like the longest winter in history, summer is finally upon us!  I'm packing the bags for our fifth anniversary mini-vacay and could not be more ready to hit the pool.  I have missed bikinis, beach books and flip flops, but what I'm most excited about is my little Seven Seas Turkish beach towel I picked up from BeKaLu in Cottesloe during our trip to Australia.  It's lightweight, dries (nearly) instantly and doubles as a sarong.  Although I haven't found that brand stateside, I have found some alternatives including these great personalized Peshtemals from NaturalSoft on Etsy (be sure to check out my favorite, the diamond weave pattern).  Try one, you'll love it!

Had a long week?  Not feeling date-ready?  Try Dr. Brandt's "Laser Tight"... it will have you feeling fresh and awake in no time.  The Clé de Peau Refining Fluid Foundation has quickly become one of my all-time favorite products.  It's pricey, but the lightweight (yet flawless) coverage makes this one totally worth it.  Armani's Flash Lacquer is an must have for your cosmetic bag.  Shade #107 is the perfect light pink shade for me.  Great on its own, also gently tones down too-bright (or dark) lipsticks.
